Old restaurant

I entertained our clients tonight at an old restaurant in Yokohama. It was an old restaurant on the "Tokaido 53-tsugi", and very famous for Ryoma Sakamoto's wife who had worked there. Food served there was so-so. But we were entertained, feeling that we went back to Bakumatsu era for a while.

I admire your effort trying to post a piece of writing onto your BLOG site.
BYW, the restaurant must be the "Tanakaya" near from Yokohama. I know it only on its web page. It says that the average rate is about thirty thousand yen per capita. It is far above from my allowance.

Thank you for your comment. The dinner course was from JPN10,000. I think that cost mainly depends on what you drink. I heard that the owner of the restaurant was wine-savvy. I was surprised at the price on the wine list. I have not received the bill of that night yet....
